Space Shuttle Discovery crew taking their places for launch

Launch of Discovery at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida is scheduled for 5:02 p.m. May 31. STS-124 crew began taking their places for launch. Here on the picture commander Mark Kelly crawled inside Discovery. Then the hatch will be closed and locked for liftoff. There are no technical issues or weather concerns at the launch pad.

Obama wins Oregon primary

Illinois Senator Barack Obama wins primary in state Oregon. Obama was ahead of Hillary Clinton 59% to 41%. Even more - he gained enough pledged delegates to get a majority of all those available in the democratic presidential nomination race. Obama congratulated Clinton on her great Kentucky victory and praised her as a pioneer.
