Obama wins Oregon primary

Obama wins elections 2008 primaryIllinois Senator Barack Obama wins primary in state Oregon. Obama was ahead of Hillary Clinton 59% to 41%. Even more - he gained enough pledged delegates to get a majority of all those available in the democratic presidential nomination race. Obama congratulated Clinton on her great Kentucky victory and praised her as a pioneer. Also he made the an attack on McCain, saying, "The lobbyists who rule George Bush's Washington are now running Sen. McCain's campaign. McCain is not change."

Bill Richardson endorses Barack Obama for president

Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico endorses Barack Obama for PresidentNew Mexico gevernor Bill Richardson endorsed senator Barack Obama over Hillary Clinton for the democratic nomination for president of the USA on Friday. Richardson is highly regarded in the Hispanic community, a community where Clinton has got substantial support. Saying some of his words in Spanish, Bill Richardson said the party has a choice between two leaders, but it's time for Democrats to stop fighting among themselves. "Your candidacy is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our nation and you are a once-in-a-lifetime leader," Richardson said as he stood next to Obama. Clinton and Obama had cultivated Richardson's backing in part because the Hispanic governor could garner support among the Hispanic community, the fastest-growing group of the electorate.

2008 Wisconsin Primary results polls and predictions

2008 wisconsin primary resultsThe primary elections for the Republican and Democratic candidates for presidency will be held on Wisconsin in February 19, 2008. A lot of experts and regular people publish predictions of results of Wisconsin Primary in columns and blogs. So it Be… Maybe blog gives to John MacCain over 85% percents of the votes and to Barack Obama almost 50%.
NPR.org writes that John McCain has the chance to pick up more delegates.
A new poll from Public Policy Polling says that Obama has 50% votes compared to Hillary Clinton's 39%. Other polls results are here.
The Rasmussen Reports telephone survey shows Obama with a narrow four-point advantage over Clinton, 47% to 43%.

Scarlett Johansson supports Barack ObamaA lot of celebrities is joining Barack Obama these days. This is because of the song "Yes We Can" featuring by Scarlett Johansson, John Legend, Herbie Hancock, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, and other stars. Here the clip on YouTube with this song. This clip was produced by will.i.am of the Black Eyes Peas and Jesse Dylan who is Bob Dylan's son. Scarlett Johansson joined other stars, including Wyclef Jean and Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger in lending her voice to the song "Yes, We Can". Scarlett, Wyclef and Nicole are the latest celebrities to show their support for Obama, following of Stevie Wonder, Oprah Winfrey, George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
